Administering series matches

The League matches page is the federation's and district's working list of every series match in a season: how to read its colours and status column, how the Visibility filter separates matches awaiting scheduling from matches that are really hidden, how scheduling mode lets you correct date, time and venue inline, and which jobs this list deliberately cannot do.

Looking for something else? Editing a match and registering results Hiding matches, schedules and results from the public

League matches is one long, filterable table of every series match your organisation runs in a season. A federation sees the whole organisation, a district sees its own series, and a club sees the matches it is involved in. It is the page you open to answer questions like where is this match, is it scheduled yet, does it clash with another match in the same hall, which club is responsible for it, and why can nobody see it.

It is a working list, not a match editor. From here you can look, filter, correct date, time and venue, and export to Excel. Everything else about a match — the score, the teams, comments, referees — is changed by opening the match itself.

You may be in the wrong place. This page is only for series (league) play run by a federation or district. If you are organising a standalone tournament, your match list is the tournament's own one, and match editing there works differently. If you are a club setting times for your own home matches, you use the same page but in scheduling mode, and the workflow is described on its own page (see the links at the end).

  • Clubs setting times and venues for their own matches, deadlines, windows and reminders — see Setting times and venues for series matches.
  • Applying to move a match, and approving or rejecting those applications — see Applying to move a series match. This page only counts them, in the Applications column.
  • Editing a match: score, winner, teams, comments, hiding it — see Editing a match and registering results. The match number links straight there.
  • Which switch hides what from the public, locked classes, hidden results and hidden tables — see Hiding matches, schedules and results from the public.
  • Series tables and standings, including regulation-time results and how a walkover or a cancelled match counts — see Series tables and standings.
  • Appointing referees to series matches — see Appointing referees across a series.
  • Setting up the season, the series and the match number codes — see Setting up a series season.
