Player licences: buying, checking and following up

How a player, a club or a federation gets a licence onto a player, what the licence record actually contains, where each party can see who is licensed, and what to do when a licence does not show up. Three different actors can create the same licence and the resulting records are not identical.

Transferring a player between clubs

How a player moves from one club to another inside the same federation: who may apply, the confirmations from the club and the player, the fee, federation approval, when the player may actually play for the new club, and the public transfer list.

Licence types, periods and licence invoicing

How a federation defines the licence types it sells, the periods they run in, what each type costs, and how the resulting licences and transfers are invoiced to clubs. This is the configuration side of licensing; buying a licence for a player is a different page.
