How a club's logo is uploaded, replaced and removed, who is allowed to do it, and where the logo shows up across the system. Club administrators can now do this themselves from their own club page.

Looking for something else? The tournament website: front page, pages, news and sponsors

Once a club logo is uploaded, it is used across Profixio wherever that club appears, for example:

  • the club's own page and in club lists for a district or federation,
  • club pickers and filters, such as when filtering matches by club,
  • team lists and registration overviews for tournaments and series,
  • team logos, since a team's logo is always its club's logo,
  • venue and facility pages that list the clubs based there,
  • membership and registration cards in league registration.

There is one logo per club, shared everywhere. Uploading a new one updates all of these places at once — there is no separate logo per tournament, per season or per team.

  • Editing the rest of a club's details — name, address, contact info, club administrators: see The club register and club administrators.
  • Managing a registered team, including the team's other details beyond its logo: see Managing a registered team.
  • The public tournament website and club pages where the logo is displayed: see Tournament website and pages.

For other roles

You change the club logo from the club's page in Club info.

  1. Open Club info in the admin menu. If your login only gives you access to one club, you are sent straight to that club's page.
  2. Click Upload logo at the top of the page. A small window opens.
  3. Choose an image file from your computer. You get a preview of it before anything is saved.
  4. Click Save as Club Logo. The window closes and the new logo is in use immediately.

If the club already has a logo, uploading a new one simply replaces it — you do not need to delete the old one first. If you change your mind before saving, click Cancel.

You can change a club's logo if you are:

  • a registered club administrator for that club, or
  • a district or federation user in the federation the club belongs to.

Being an administrator of one club does not let you change another club's logo — the button is simply not shown on other clubs' pages.

If a logo has to be taken down without a replacement, contact support.

  • Accepted file types: JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, BMP and WebP.
  • SVG files are not accepted for club logos. (Federation logos are a different feature and do accept SVG.)
  • Maximum file size: about 5 MB.
  • The file picker only offers image files.

If the file is not a valid image, you get the message "Must be an image" and nothing is saved. Files that are too large are rejected as well.

The logo is shown small in most places, so a clean, square-ish image with good contrast tends to work best. A file with a transparent background can look wrong on dark surfaces — a plain background is the safer choice.

The same logo can be reached from a few other screens, and they all write to the same club logo:

  • Tournament club list — Upload logo is also available on a club row in the tournament's club list. If that tournament club is not yet linked to a club in the central club register, a placeholder club is created and linked automatically, so a logo can still be attached.
  • Team editing — where a team's logo is shown, Change club logo opens the same upload window, because a team's logo is its club's logo. This particular entry point can be switched off for a federation — see Differences per federation below. It does not affect the other two entry points.

Be aware that changing the logo from any of these places changes it for the club everywhere, not just inside that tournament or for that one team.

Federation logos (used in headers and on login screens) are a separate feature with different rules and are managed on the federation, not on the club.

Profixio support can switch off Allow club logo changes for a federation on request. When that is off, the Change club logo button on the team-edit screen is switched off — users who used to reach the logo from a team lose that particular shortcut.

The setting covers that team-edit button only: Upload logo on the club's page in Club info and in the tournament club list stays available to the people described under Who is allowed to change a club logo.
